Students Nature And Photography (SNAP) is a resource for kids in the Navigation to explore the outdoors and world of digital photography. The cameras and supplies for SNAP were funded by the Connecting Kids and Nature Mini Grant the HOWA Family Center received last spring. SNAP helps students connect directly with nature because photographs are taken by students on their field trips in the Navigation program. It helps students gain confidence by learning a new skill and sharing their experiences with others. It also provides students an opportunity to practice social skills by working with others to create and share great photographs. We look forward to seeing much more great photography this year!
